Downtemp Beta Launch
Welp, just like that, the Alpha is done and the Beta begins! 😲🙌 It's been a fun couple of months and I want to thank everyone that participated in the Alpha, but we've reached beta status! Which means... you can tell the homies! 🗣️📢 Yea, go ahead and share it with your friends! I'm nervous, to say the least, but we've gotta pressure test this somehow haha. Lost? Keep reading! 🤷❔ To those that are new here: This is Downtemp, a side-project-turned-full-time-project of mine (Trevor). In short, the whole point is basically to answer the question: "What's going on tonight?" (or tomorrow night, or this weekend, etc). If you want the long spiel: Downtemp is the ACTUALLY social, social network. Let your friends know what you're up to and see what they're getting into, whether it's a fully planned hang or just a casual vibe for the night. Host something in person or remotely, invite others (or don't), see what's happening in your feed, show you're down to join, chat in real time, and keep it chill by following the people you actually hang with. Less planning, more hanging. You down? Again, it's verrrry new, and pretty limited in its features at the moment. There's still so much to do, but hopefully y'all can sign-up and try it out! 🧑💻📱 Please let me know if there's anything that's not working at the moment. 🐛🚫 You can post any weirdness you see in the event chat here. 💬 Oh, and I'm sure there's a million ideas in your heads right now, so feel free to share, but keep in mind that I have a huge list already and the reason a feature is not here is likely just because of time, so it may be on the way! 📜⌚ Thanks for all your help with testing it out! 💙💙
